What is TTT ?
TTT is a form of Teacher-led professional development wherein teachers leading training workshops and in-service PDs once a month. This campus PD has been implemented at BISS since 2013.
How can I benefit from it ?
Teacher-led professional development fosters accountability, collegiality, professionalism, and pride. Teachers feel appreciated and respected for their contributions and knowledge, and they become confident and more competent in their own teaching practice.
How does TTT work ?
On PD Thursdays , there will be about 5 teacher-led , 20 minute workshops that you can choose from to attend. Find a topic that you feel is most beneficial to your teaching .
Important Reminder : Attendance will be checked during the workshops. Faculty attendance is MANDATORY.
How can I be a presenter ?
You can sign up here on the site or speak to Lianne.
What topics can I present ?
You can present any topic that you want to share with the group. Some examples could be, but are not limited to:
How can I facilitate my workshop ?
TTT workshops can be conducted formally or informally. You may opt to teach in a classroom, meet in the library, gym,quad or lounge or go for a picnic or a morning coffee talk in the cafeteria. You can get creative with this.
What materials do I have to prepare as a presenter ?
You may give handouts to your participants if you wish. We also have a resource page in this site where you can upload presentation and resources for everyone to access.
