Speed Geeking

Picture
Join us for a fun and crazy Speed Geeking session once a month … it’s like Speed Dating, but with an educational twist! It is a large group method to quickly expose participants to a new information about any topic. The main focus is on short exposure to something new as presented by someone with extensive, practical experience in the topic, tool or area.

How it works:  Teachers will be introduced to various tools. Participants will then visit different “dating stations” for 5 minutes and get practical ideas for
classroom use.

For the first semester the speed geeking focus will be on Technology Integration in the classroom.  Do you have some cool Techy tools (apps, websites, tools, etc) you use in class  that you want to share with your BISS colleagues? Sign up here now !
