Making Content Comprehensible For English Language Learners by Lauren Scannell
Did you know over 60% of Brent's student population are English Language Learners? This mini workshop will introduce ways content teachers can make their lessons more accessible for ELLs to increase student success. The workshop will introduce the idea of incorporating language objectives alongside content objectives. As well various protocols and supports handouts will be provided to help support students language while learning content.Please come to the workshop with one lesson plan or content objective for a future lesson.
